The "Women Skydivers of India" has been formed under the patronage of Ms Rachel Thomas, India's first woman skydiver and a recipient of the Padma Shri award in the year 2005 by the President of India for her achievement and contribution in the sport of Skydiving.
The founder members of this team are Archana Sardana, Bharati Thanwani, Mili Sharma and Rupinder Parhar.
